PUMA Appoints Markus Neubrand As CFO

PUMA has appointed Markus Neubrand as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Management Board, effective October 1, 2024. The current CFO, Hubert Hinterseher, will step down by mutual agreement on September 30, 2024, and leave the company on December 31, 2024.

Neubrand previously served as CFO at GUESS Inc. and held leadership roles at MCM Worldwide and HUGO BOSS. At PUMA, he will oversee Finance, Investor Relations, Legal, IT and Business Solutions.

“We are excited to welcome Markus to PUMA. With his industry expertise and people-first approach, he is a great fit for the PUMA family,” said Arne Freundt, CEO of PUMA. “I also want to thank Hubert for his dedication over the past 20 years and wish him the best in his future endeavours.”

PUMA’s Management Board, effective October 1, 2024, will include Arne Freundt (CEO), Markus Neubrand (CFO), Maria Valdes (CPO) and Anne-Laure Descours (CSO).
