Recover And TextileGenesis Partner To Digitally Trace Recycled Fibre Supply Chains

Partnership enables end-to-end traceability of recycled cotton and polycotton, supporting circularity and regulatory compliance.
Recover, a global leader in recycled cotton fibres, has partnered with TextileGenesis, a Lectra company, to digitally track recycled materials across the textile value chain using Fibercoin technology.
The pilot project creates a verified chain of custody for every kilogramme of material—from fibre production to finished garment—strengthening Recover’s circularity goals and preparing for the EU Digital Product Passport (DPP). It complements Recover’s physical tracers and GRS certification, adding a new layer of digital transparency.
“Traceability is critical to validate circularity claims and support upcoming regulations,” said Orsolya Janossy, Senior Sustainability Manager at Recover.
The collaboration successfully onboarded suppliers to TextileGenesis’ platform through multilingual training and support, ensuring secure digital transactions and a transparent supply chain footprint.
“This sets the foundation for scalable, digital traceability in recycled fibre systems,” said Amit Gautam, Founder & CEO of TextileGenesis.
Recover and TextileGenesis now aim to scale fibre-to-retail traceability across all Recover fibres, enabling brands to access verified recycled content data and supply chain ESG insights.
