Rieter And Vinatex Partner For Sustainable Textile Education In Vietnam

At ITMA 2023 in Milan, Rieter celebrated its exciting new collaboration with Vinatex, one of Vietnam’s leading textile companies. This partnership aims to enhance the training of textile specialists in Vietnam, fostering sustainable growth within the industry.

Vinatex, with its 80,000-strong workforce and a diverse portfolio of 45 companies, including 12 spinning mills, has been instrumental in shaping new markets and establishing Vietnam’s textile sector as a prominent player in global exports. Their commitment to quality, sustainability and social responsibility has propelled them to become a leading manufacturer in Vietnam and Asia.

In line with their vision, Vinatex and Rieter are launching a collaborative project to strengthen textile education in Vietnam. This initiative includes annual training sessions conducted by Rieter experts for professors, training opportunities for students at Vietnamese spinning mills, guest lectures and the provision of a machine model for educational purposes. Rieter will also support students with scholarships, furthering their expertise in the field.
