Rossari Ties Up with Sadara For Saudi Chemicals Project

Mumbai-based speciality chemicals manufacturer Rossari Biotech Ltd has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabia’s Sadara Chemical Company to explore the supply of key raw materials for Rossari’s proposed speciality chemicals plant in the Kingdom.

The MoU was signed at Sadara Business Park in Jubail Industrial City. The ceremony was attended by Majed Al Otaibi, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Energy for Technical and Regulatory Affairs for Petroleum and Gas; Fayez Al Sharif, Chief Executive Officer of Sadara Chemical Company and Sunil Chari, Co-founder and Managing Director of Rossari Biotech.

Sadara stated that the agreement aligns with its commitment to advancing industrial integration, supporting downstream development and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals through localisation, competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Earlier, in March 2025, Rossari had signed an MoU with Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh), a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical, to develop propoxylates and ethoxylates manufacturing in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia. Under that arrangement, Rossari would source ethylene oxide and propylene oxide from Petro Rabigh for ethoxylates production.

Rossari Biotech manufactures speciality enzymes and chemicals used across pharmaceuticals, personal care, construction and other industrial applications.
