RSWM And Adani Energy Solutions Partner To Advance Clean Energy Transition

RSWM Ltd., one of India’s leading textile manufacturers and the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has signed an agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. (AESL) for the supply of 60 MW of renewable energy, marking a significant milestone in RSWM’s sustainability journey.
Under the agreement, AESL will manage the complete green power value chain to meet RSWM’s additional energy needs. As part of this arrangement, RSWM has invested Rs 60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme with a renewable energy producer, securing the supply of 31.53 crore units of green energy annually for its manufacturing facilities across Rajasthan. With this transition, the share of renewable power in RSWM’s total energy consumption will increase from 33% to approximately 70% in the near future, nearly double the national clean energy average of 31%.
“This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and reinforces our position as a forward-looking industrial leader,” said Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director & CEO, RSWM Ltd. “By sourcing 70% of our total energy needs from renewable sources, we continue to set benchmarks in responsible and future-ready energy transition.”
Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd., added, “We are delighted to partner with RSWM on this landmark initiative. This collaboration reflects how sustainability is becoming integral to business strategy. As a leading energy solutions provider in the commercial and industrial segment, AESL is committed to helping industries decarbonize through reliable and scalable renewable power solutions.”
Commenting on the strategic investment, Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM Ltd., said, “This Rs 60 crore investment is an important milestone in our sustainability roadmap, aligning us with global clean energy benchmarks. The integration of hybrid renewable power will reduce our carbon footprint while enhancing energy security and operational efficiency.”
RSWM continues to embed sustainability across its operations from renewable energy adoption to circular material flows and responsible water management, reinforcing its position as a future-ready textile manufacturer contributing to a regenerative and resilient industrial ecosystem.
AESL’s Commercial & Industrial (C&I) vertical provides customized, competitively priced, and increasingly green power solutions for large power consumers across sectors. The company aims to scale its C&I portfolio to 7,000 MW over the next five years.
