RSWM Ltd Wins Silver At Financial Express Green Sarathi Awards
RSWM Limited, part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has won the Silver Award in the “Sustainable Fashion and Textile” category at the Financial Express Green Sarathi Awards. The award recognizes its initiative, “Redefining Sustainability – Mapping Initiatives for a Greener Tomorrow,” aimed at reducing environmental impact and fostering innovation.
RSWM’s sustainability strategy is powered by renewable energy, including a 92 MW wind and solar capacity, and biofuel adoption, reducing carbon emissions by 800,000 metric tons annually. By 2025, all coal-fired boilers will transition to biofuel.
The company champions circular practices with zero fiber waste, 100% wastewater recycling under its Zero Liquid Discharge policy, and annual recycling of 1,830 PET bottles into polyester, comprising 50% of its polyester production. It also promotes organic cotton, recycled materials, and organic manure use.
Certified by GOTS, OEKO-TEX, and other global standards, RSWM aims to source 50% energy from renewables by 2035, cut water footprint by 30%, and achieve full supply chain transparency by 2032. This award underscores RSWM’s commitment to a greener, sustainable future.
