SCZONE Unveils US$ 40 Mln Eroglu Garment Project
The Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) marked a major breakthrough on August 13, 2024, as Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE, inaugurated the revolutionary ceremony for the US$ 40 million “Eroglu Garment” project. This venture, in collaboration with Turkish Eroglu Global Holding Group, is set to develop 64,000 square meters in the Qantara West Industrial Zone and is projected to generate around 2,750 jobs by January 2025. Future plans include a major expansion covering an additional 400,000 square meters.
The ceremony was attended by key dignitaries including Major General Akram Galal, Governor of Ismailia, and Mr. Salih Mutlu Şen, Chairman of Eroglu Holding Group, among other Turkish and Egyptian officials.
This revolutionary project highlights SCZONE’s commitment to enhancing its industrial infrastructure and attractiveness as a leading investment destination. It is the first Turkish investment in the Qantara West Zone and marks a new chapter in SCZONE’s efforts to boost regional and global competitiveness.
