Spanish Firm Ferrum Installs Mimaki Print-and-Cut Duo To Boost Creative Output

Mimaki Europe has announced that Andalusia-based Diseños Metálicos Ferrum has installed the Mimaki JFX200-2513 EX UV flatbed printer alongside the CFX-2513 cutting table, marking the first combined setup of its kind in the Iberian region. Supplied by Digidelta Andalucía, the investment enables the company to offer fully customised, high-quality work on rigid materials while managing the entire process in-house.

Ferrum, originally rooted in metalworking and now active in real estate and hospitality design, sought more creative flexibility to meet rising customer demand for personalised rigid-material applications. “The new Mimaki systems give us the precision, versatility and freedom our clients expect,” said Diego Ayala, Head of Printing.

The UV-LED flatbed printer provides high-quality output on a wide range of substrates, while the paired cutting table allows detailed shaping and finishing — a combination that streamlines production and expands the company’s creative scope.

Digidelta Andalucía highlighted the project as a strong example of Mimaki’s reliable technology backed by local expertise. With the installation complete, Ferrum says it is ready to push creative boundaries and unlock new business opportunities, calling the move “an investment in possibilities.”
