Spinnova Partners With NZ TEX Group To Scale Spinnova Fibre For Denim

Spinnova’s long-term woven fabric manufacturing partner, NZ TEX Group, has joined the Spinnova ecosystem to support the scaling of Spinnova fibre, marking a key step toward commercialisation in denim and woven textiles.
Based in Bangladesh, NZ TEX Group is a vertically integrated textile manufacturer established in 1982, specialising in denim and woven fabrics for leading global fashion brands. The company has worked with Spinnova over several years through joint R&D and product development focused on next-generation sustainable materials.
The collaboration has included extensive fabric trials using Spinnova fibre, with NZ TEX Group handling weaving, dyeing and finishing processes. The development work has demonstrated strong potential for denim applications, positioning the fibre for wider industrial use.
By joining the Spinnova ecosystem, NZ TEX Group will help transition Spinnova fibre from development into scalable production. The partnership will focus on manufacturing denim fabrics using the fibre, which are set to be showcased at the Kingpins New York edition in July 2026, a leading global denim trade event.
Company executives said the collaboration strengthens efforts to integrate innovative fibre technologies into established supply chains. Spinnova highlighted that the partnership accelerates market readiness, while NZ TEX Group emphasized the fibre’s suitability for durable applications such as denim.
