Staubli Unveils SAFIR PRO S37 Automatic Drawing-in Machine At ITMA Asia 2025

At ITMA Asia 2025, Staubli has unveiled its latest innovation, the SAFIR PRO S37 automatic drawing-in machine, setting new benchmarks in weaving automation and precision. Designed to handle filament yarns at high speed, the SAFIR PRO S37 ensures efficient workflow and exceptional fabric quality, catering to demanding applications such as airbags, sportswear, waterproof fabrics and technical textiles, including fiberglass used in printed circuit boards.
The new machine delivers outstanding flexibility and performance with features such as reduced yarn handling, which minimizes breakage, and optimized engineering that reduces machine downtime. Its integrated AWC Layer and Offset Management System enables smooth drawing-in of double warp beams and facilitates direct, error-free adjustments, ensuring higher productivity and quality consistency.
Alongside the SAFIR PRO S37, Staubli has presented a comprehensive portfolio of advanced textile machinery designed to enhance fabric production across sectors. The TIEPRO warp tying machine offers rapid tying for a wide range of yarns with low maintenance and operating costs, a feature highly praised by long-time customers such as Indonesia’s Danarmas, a leading weaver and spinner with more than 60 years of experience.
Other highlights at the booth include the S3280 and S3017/S3018 rotary dobbies for weaving patterned fabrics at high speed, the S1792 cam motion optimized for air-jet and rapier weaving machines, and the LX PRO Jacquard machine, which combines maximum performance with low energy consumption for flat, terry and technical fabrics. The company has also showcased carpet samples woven on the ALPHA 580 UNIVERSAL carpet weaving system, demonstrating versatility and precision in carpet production.
Backed by over 130 years of research and development, Staubli continues to refine its machinery to meet evolving customer needs, offering customized, reliable and high-performing solutions across the textile sector.
Complementing its hardware innovations, Staubli has also promoted its MyStäubli portal, an all-in-one digital service platform providing mills with access to technical documentation, tutorials, maintenance support and remote assistance. The platform ensures maximum machine uptime and seamless customer support.
With the launch of the SAFIR PRO S37 and its expanded range of intelligent weaving solutions, Staubli reinforces its commitment to advancing automation, productivity and quality in textile manufacturing across Southeast Asia and beyond.
