SuperCircle Raises $24M Series A To Revolutionize Retail Textile Waste Management

SuperCircle, the full-stack AI-powered textile waste management platform for leading global retailers, announced $24 million in Series A funding led by Foundry, with participation from BBG Ventures, Renewal Fund, and Elemental Impact. The funding will accelerate SuperCircle’s expansion as a scalable operating system addressing retail’s growing end-of-life textile problem.

Each year, nearly $163 billion of unsold inventory is discarded globally, with over 85% of textiles ending up in landfills or incinerators. SuperCircle enables brands to transform waste from a cost center into a revenue-generating asset while complying with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. Its platform powers post-consumer and post-industrial end-of-life optimization for 75+ partners, including J.Crew, GUESS, Reformation, FIGS, and Parachute Home, covering trade-in programs, store fleets, distribution centers, and supply chain disposition.

CEO and Co-founder Chloe Songer explained, “We built SuperCircle to give retailers a scalable, financially sound system for end-of-life, generating value from textiles long after purchase and drastically reducing supply chain losses on excess, damaged, and returned inventory.”

SuperCircle’s AI-driven sort engine analyzes 50+ garment-level data points to determine the most profitable and sustainable next life for every item. This intelligence reduces waste handling costs, minimizes write-downs, and unlocks incremental revenue streams, while providing brands with the data infrastructure needed for full traceability and regulatory compliance.

The Series A funding will expand SuperCircle’s technology capabilities, supply chain integrations, reverse logistics footprint, and data architecture, enabling rapid onboarding of enterprise retailers.

“SuperCircle has built the digital infrastructure to move the industry beyond incremental fixes, enabling a fully circular system at scale,” said Nisha Dua, Managing Partner at BBG Ventures. Jaclyn Hester, Partner at Foundry, added, “The platform delivers regulatory readiness, measurable impact, and profitable outcomes, setting a new standard for textile waste management.”

To date, SuperCircle has diverted over 6 million textiles from landfills and aims to responsibly handle more than 1 billion textiles by 2030.
