Sutlej Q1FY26 Income Rs 610 Cr, Loss Widens

Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter of value-added dyed yarns and home textiles, reported consolidated total income of Rs 610 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to Rs 686 crore in the previous quarter, marking an 11% decline.

EBITDA stood at Rs 1 crore, down sharply from Rs 16 crore in Q4FY25, with EBITDA margin slipping to 0.2%. The company posted a net loss of Rs 30 crore against a loss of Rs 13 crore in the preceding quarter.

Executive Chairman C. S. Nopany attributed the subdued performance to exceptional external challenges, including disruptions at the Kathua facility in Jammu & Kashmir due to the India–Pakistan conflict. “Despite headwinds, the company remained resilient, with strong systems, people, and strategy in place. We are cautiously optimistic about FY26, backed by a diversified portfolio, strong export base, and disciplined execution,” Nopany said.

Sutlej closed FY25 with a consolidated income of Rs 2,699 crore and EBITDA of Rs 65 crore. The company expects improved stability and growth prospects in the coming quarters.
