Techtextil 2026 Expands With 1,500+ Exhibitors

Techtextil 2026 will bring together more than 1,500 exhibitors from 49 countries when it takes place in Frankfurt am Main from April 21–24, 2026, highlighting continued growth in key future sectors of technical textiles and nonwovens. More than 120 companies will participate as first-time exhibitors.

The event will be held alongside Texprocess, which is expected to host around 200 exhibitors despite challenging market conditions. Together, the two shows will feature more than 1,700 exhibitors at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds.

With 16 country pavilions including those from France, Korea and Switzerland and new pavilions from the Netherlands and Tunisia, the fair continues to expand its international reach. Exhibitor participation is also growing from markets such as India, the Netherlands and Portugal, with additional new companies joining from Australia, Colombia, Nigeria, Hungary and Uruguay.

One of the major highlights in 2026 will be the Performance Apparel Textiles area in Hall 9.0, which has doubled its exhibition space and will host around 130 exhibitors from 13 countries. The area focuses on advanced performance materials used in workwear, protective and military clothing, as well as outdoor and sports apparel.

Sustainability will also be a key theme under the Nature Performance special interest segment, showcasing exhibitors offering bio-based fibres, natural polymers and sustainable yarns. The label will help visitors identify suppliers developing environmentally responsible material solutions.

In addition, the 2026 edition will introduce Textile Chemicals & Dyes as a dedicated product segment for the first time. Located in Hall 9.0, the new section will feature more than 30 exhibitors from eleven countries and aims to create a central platform for suppliers and users of textile chemicals to collaborate more efficiently across applications such as protective clothing, automotive textiles, filtration, construction and medical technology.

Amid global economic uncertainties and geopolitical pressures, Techtextil continues to position itself as a key international platform for innovation, collaboration and market development across the technical textiles industry.
