The Lycra Company Appoints Alistair Williamson As VP Sustainability

The Lycra Company has appointed longtime executive Alistair Williamson as Vice President of Product Sustainability, reinforcing its commitment to advancing sustainable solutions across apparel and personal care.

In this role, Williamson will lead the company’s sustainability strategy and oversee initiatives to reduce environmental impact across products, operations and innovation platforms.

With over 40 years of experience in textile fibres and apparel, Williamson has held leadership roles across EMEA, North America, and South Asia, and has been with the company since 2007.

“Alistair’s expertise will drive our sustainability agenda and support our customers’ evolving requirements,” said Doug Kelliher. “His leadership will ensure we continue delivering high-performance solutions with greater transparency and lower environmental impact.”
