Trent Revenue Up 19% & PAT Rises 26% In Q1 FY26-27

Tata Group retail company Trent Ltd. reported a strong first-quarter performance for FY26-27, driven by continued expansion of its Westside and Zudio formats.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, standalone revenue from operations increased 19% year-on-year to Rs 5,666 crore, while operating EBITDA grew 36% to Rs 847 crore. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 26% to Rs 532 crore.
During the quarter, Trent added 1 Westside and 22 Zudio stores, including one Zudio outlet in the UAE, while consolidating three stores. The company now operates more than 1,300 large-format fashion stores across 330 cities, with a retail footprint exceeding 18 million sq. ft. Its portfolio comprises 301 Westside stores, 982 Zudio stores and 29 stores across other lifestyle concepts.
Emerging categories such as beauty & personal care, innerwear and footwear contributed over 21% of revenues, while online sales accounted for more than 6% of Westside revenues.
On a consolidated basis, revenue grew 18% to Rs 5,755 crore, with operating EBITDA up 33% to Rs 848 crore and PAT rising 22% to Rs 518 crore.
The company’s grocery business, Star, added five stores during the quarter, taking its network to 86 stores across 12 cities. Own brands now contribute over 73% of Star’s revenues.
Commenting on the results, Chairman Noel N. Tata said the company remains well-positioned for growth, supported by its ability to offer relevant products, respond to evolving consumer preferences and expand across markets and customer segments.
