Garware Technical Fibres Reports Strong Performance In Q1 FY26-27 With Revenue Growth Of 31%

Garware Technical Fibres Ltd (GTFL), a leading manufacturer of technical textiles, reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, driven by robust demand across its Synthetic Cordage and Geosynthetics businesses.
The company’s consolidated net sales increased 31.4% year-on-year to Rs 482.4 crore in Q1 FY26-27, compared to Rs 367.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit before tax (PBT) rose 22.7% to Rs 86.4 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) grew 21.5% to Rs 64.5 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) improved 22.6% to Rs 6.56 from Rs 5.35 a year ago.
Commenting on the performance, Vayu Garware, Chairman and Managing Director, said the strong growth was largely driven by the Synthetic Cordage segment, supported by healthy domestic demand, continued momentum in the Salmon Aquaculture business, and normalization of market conditions in the U.S. following tariff-related disruptions. The Geosynthetics business also maintained its growth trajectory and delivered strong profitability during the quarter.
The company faced inflationary pressures from higher raw material costs and elevated freight rates due to the ongoing Middle East conflict. However, it was able to mitigate the impact by passing on increased costs to customers, albeit with a time lag.
