Trützschler Stands Tall With Biggest Stall In ITMA Spinning Halls
German textile technology major Trützschler, which offers innovative spinning solutions from Blowroom to Combing, stood tall at ITMA 2023 with the biggest stall admeasuring 1,320 sq metres, among all the other companies exhibiting in the three spinning halls.
Speaking on the various innovations and technologies featured at their stall, Dr Bettina Temath, Global Marketing Head at Trützschler exclusively told Textile Insights, “For our customers in the spinning mills, what is more important is the higher productivity, better quality, more sustainable and efficient technologies as well as cost reductions. So, our focus at this ITMA has been to provide solutions to all these challenges.”
“In the area of sustainability, we have cooperated with a Turkish company named Balkan for a Tearing Machine and so now Trützschler has become a one point seller of technology for processing hard textile waste, whether it is pre or post-consumer textile waste. We call it the Truecycled process and customers who buy our technologies can use this Truecycled logo,” she informed.
The special highlight at the Trützschler stall is the new TC 30i Carding machine. It achieves a higher level of performance and quality with 35 percent more active flats and a 14 percent extended carding length.
The TC 30i also comes with T-GO, the only proven and automatic gap optimiser for operator-independent efficiency.
“Wastecontrol is also part of the intelligent carding with the TC 30i. The optical sensor of Wastecontrol permanently monitors the waste quality at the most important cleaning point, the licker-in. If too many good fibres are registered in the waste, the system optimises the mote knife adjusting system via the servo motor,” Dr Temath said.
For Roto Yarns, Trützschler is showing an integrated Draw Frame called IDF 3. It is the shortest path to perfect quality and produces perfectly homogenious regulated sliver. It has a gentle and secure fibre guidance system while drafting, and offers great independency from running behaviour of the different materials
The IDF 3 has four times higher ‘Can’ changing speed with no need to stop the coiler plate. It also offers time saving while changing, leading to higher productivity and decreased operating costs. It also has a self-cleaning of the measuring system and has an operator focused design.
Trützschler is also showing the TCO 21XL which works with 12 heads, leading to reduction in conversion costs per kg. It offers 50 percent more productivity while taking up 25 percent less space. It comes with an Online Noil Monitoring system which solves a major challenge for spinners, like being able to recognise and react to fluctuations in the raw material. Additionally, there are no unnecessary processing costs in down streaming process and also leads to saving of raw material.
In the area of digital technology and transformation, Truetzschler relies exclusively on the highest security standards and are all cloud-based and extremely secure.
“We have a Customer portal called My Truetzschler in which there is a feature called My Mill. Through My Mill, spinning managers can fulfill any individual information need about production, quality, maintenance or simply a complete overview and can make informed, data-based decisions,” Dr Temath added.
With My Mill, the goal for the company is to guide spinners to their focus areas intuitively and provide analyses for production, quality and maintenance that they can extend individually at any time.
Additionally, managers can find out about their current production with My Production app. My Production shows an overview of the complete installation right up to detailed information on machine level. Push notifications will inform users, if any action is required.
