Turkey Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties On Acrylic Fibre Imports From China

Turkey has imposed anti-dumping duties on imports of acrylic and modacrylic fibre from China, following an affirmative final ruling by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, aimed at protecting its domestic synthetic fibre industry.
According to announcement issued on December 17, 2025, the ministry concluded that Chinese-origin acrylic and modacrylic fibre imports were being dumped and had caused material injury to Turkish producers. As a result, anti-dumping duties will be levied based on the CIF value of the imported products.
Under the ruling, imports from Jilin Jimont Acrylic Fiber Co., Ltd. and Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd. will attract a duty of 6.72 per cent, while a higher rate of 14.24 per cent will apply to all other Chinese producers and exporters. The products subject to the measures fall under Turkish tariff code 5501.30.00.00.00.
The duties come into force from the date of publication and will remain valid for a five-year period.
