Vardhman Textiles To Double Shirt Capacity
Vardhman Textiles Ltd has announced a major expansion of its garmenting capacity with plans to nearly double men’s shirt production capacity from the existing 2.20 million pieces per annum to approximately 4.50 million pieces annually.
The company will invest around Rs 125 crore in the proposed expansion, which is expected to be completed by the end of FY 2026-27. The project will be financed through a mix of internal accruals and debt.
According to the company, the expansion is aimed at strengthening its garmenting portfolio and enhancing its ability to attract high-value international buyers. The additional capacity is also expected to support higher order volumes while improving overall cost efficiency and capacity utilization.
