Vedant Fashions Reports 15% Rise In Q1 FY27 Profit, Retail Sales Grow 3.4%

Vedant Fashions Ltd, the owner of ethnic wear brands including Manyavar, reported a steady performance in the first quarter of FY27, driven by growth in retail sales, same-store sales and profitability.
The company recorded a 7.2 per cent year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs 301.4 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to Rs 281.2 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 14.7 per cent to Rs 80.6 crore from Rs 70.3 crore, while PAT margin improved to 26.7 per cent from 25.0 per cent. EBITDA grew 10.8 per cent to Rs 134.5 crore, with EBITDA margin expanding to 44.6 per cent.
Vedant Fashions continued to maintain strong profitability, reporting a gross margin of 65.7 per cent during the quarter.
Retail sales across channels, measured as sales made by the company’s customers, increased 3.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 419.5 crore. Domestic same-store sales growth (SSSG) stood at 3.8 per cent, indicating healthy demand across its established store network.
As of June 2026, the company operated 501 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) across 205 cities and towns in India, covering 1.67 million sq. ft. of retail space. In addition, it had a presence through 136 shop-in-shop outlets and 14 international stores.
