Vietnam Fibre Exports Down 13.8% In First Nine Months Of 2023

In the months between January and September 2023, Vietnamese exports of various fibres totaled US $3.2 billion, down 13.8 percent year over year.

In the period under review, fibre shipments to China, which is Vietnam’s biggest fibre export market, amounted to $1.71 billion, a drop of 2.1 percent from a year ago period.

Fibre exports to South Korea totaled $284 million in the first nine months of the current year, dropping by a significant 24.2 percent over the same months of earlier year.

Fibre exports to the United States; the third biggest overseas market registered a higher decline at 29.4 percent to reach $108 million.
