Vietnam Textile & Apparel Exports Optimistic Of Reaching Target

The Vietnamese textile and garment is witnessing a rise in export orders since the beginning of this year and so is optimistic about achieving target of US $44 billion in exports this year.

A majority of textile and garment exporters have reported that they have in hand production orders in hand till May 2024.

Experts aver that the hike in orders showed that the industry is recovering and the market is heating up.

The industry has switched its strategy from fast development to sustainable development and circularity to achieve the export target till 2030.

Particularly, the industry will concentrate on adopting latest and sustainable technologies and also human resources development.

The plan also envisages investing in the production of new and environmentally-friendly natural raw materials thereby boosting export orders from the sector.
