Vipul Organics Pigments & Dyes Bag ZHDC Level 3 Certificate

Vipul Organics Ltd, a manufacturer of textile pigments and reactive dyes has received the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZHDC) Level 3 certificate for its range of textile pigments and reactive dyes.

The textile pigments are sold under the brand name of SunPrint, while the textile reactive dyes are sold under the brand name SunActive.

The BSE listed company first received the OEKO-TEX certification for its pigments range with Level 1 qualification in 2022.

Now after receiving the ZDHC Level 3 certificate, the company becomes amongst the first few global companies to have been awarded this certificate.

According to a Vipul Organics press release, the Level 3 certification involves among the most stringent tests.

It involves onsite assessment of chemical hazard capability as well as the adherence to Level 1 and Level 2 requirements of analytical testing, supported screening and SDS review of relevant MRSL product information.

Over 170 pigment dispersion products have been certified for level 3, while around 100 products in reactive dyes have also been certified Level 3.

“The certification will assist us in becoming the dyes and pigments partner of choice for most sustainable textile and garments manufacturers in the world,” Mihir Shah, ED at Vipul Organics said.
