Welspun Living Continues Strong Growth With Sustainable Expansion In Q3FY25

Welspun Living Ltd., a global leader in home textiles and part of the US$ 3.6 billion Welspun Group, has announced its Q3FY25 financial results, showcasing a robust performance driven by sustainable business practices and innovation.
The company reported a 3% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue, reaching Rs 25,277 million for Q3FY25, while year-to-date (YTD) revenue grew by 11.7% to Rs 80,491 million. The home textile segment demonstrated resilience, with a 1.3% increase in revenue during Q3FY25, amounting to Rs 22,818 million, and a solid 11.2% growth for YTD at Rs 73,819 million. However, the flooring segment saw a decline of 12.4% YoY in Q3FY25.
Despite inflationary pressures and cautious consumer spending, the company’s domestic consumer business saw a modest 2% growth, and its global brand sales surged by 23% YTD, further strengthening Welspun’s leadership in the home textiles market.

Financial Highlights:
- Consolidated Revenue: Rs 25,277 million in Q3FY25, up 3% YoY; YTD revenue at Rs 80,491 million, up 11.7% YoY.
- EBITDA: Rs 3,185 million in Q3FY25, with a margin of 12.6%; YTD EBITDA of Rs 11,326 million, margin at 14.1%.
- Net Profit: Rs 1,208 million in Q3FY25, down 31.6% YoY; YTD profit of Rs 5,073 million, a slight decline of 5.2%.
- EPS: Rs 1.27 in Q3FY25, down from Rs 1.84 in Q3FY24.
- Net Debt: Rs 16,584 million as of December 2023, an increase of Rs 1,168 million from the previous quarter but a decrease of Rs 1,739 million from September 2024.
Segment Performance:
- Home Textile Segment: Revenue for Q3FY25 stood at Rs 22,818 million, up 1.3% YoY, while YTD revenue grew by 11.2% to Rs 73,819 million. The segment continues to be a key growth driver for the company.
- Flooring Segment: Revenue decreased by 12.4% YoY in Q3FY25, amounting to Rs 2,157 million. However, YTD performance showed a smaller decline of 2.9% at Rs 6,933 million.
Welspun Living continues to emphasize innovation as a key growth pillar, with innovation sales contributing approximately 24% to total sales YTD. The company also remains focused on sustainable growth, with efforts aligned toward achieving 100% renewable energy by 2030.
In Q3FY25, Welspun Living invested Rs 1,033 million, primarily towards towel projects at Anjar. The company’s total YTD capital expenditure stands at Rs 5,950 million.
