Welspun Living Posts Strongest Growth In Seven Quarters, Revenue Jumps 23.5%

Welspun Living Ltd. (WLL) reported its strongest quarterly growth in seven quarters, driven by robust export demand, strong domestic performance and improving profitability across key business segments.
For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the home textiles major reported revenue of ₹2,828 crore, registering a 23.5% year-on-year growth and a 15.4% sequential increase. EBITDA rose to ₹354 crore, while EBITDA margin expanded to 12.5%, marking the third consecutive quarter of margin improvement. Profit after tax (PAT) nearly doubled to ₹161 crore, growing 1.8 times year-on-year.
The company’s home textile exports grew 28.1% year-on-year, making it one of the strongest export quarters in recent years. Growth was supported by improving demand across key international markets, with the UK and Europe recording over 20% growth during the quarter.
Welspun Living’s domestic business maintained strong momentum, registering 21.3% growth, supported by deeper market penetration of its brands across Indian households. The company’s portfolio of global brands also remained resilient, contributing around 12% of total revenues, with Christy continuing to deliver double-digit growth.
The US pillow business emerged as a key growth driver, reporting revenue growth of 2.3 times year-on-year and remaining on track to double its revenues during FY27. Meanwhile, the flooring business improved profitability, with margins rising to 10.4% despite softer export demand.
Innovation-led products continued to gain traction, accounting for nearly 25% of the company’s business during the quarter.
On the sustainability front, Welspun Living achieved a significant milestone with its Anjar manufacturing facility transitioning to 100% green power from mid-July 2026, reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Commenting on the performance, B.K. Goenka, Chairman, Welspun Group, said, “Over the past few years, we have focused on building a stronger and more agile organisation through investments in innovation, manufacturing excellence, brands, sustainability and people. Q1FY27 is clear evidence of that – we have begun the year with a strong quarter with revenues up 23.5% year on year. It is encouraging to see these strategic investments translating into broad-based growth and improved profitability.”
He added, “The global sourcing landscape continues to evolve in India’s favour. The implementation of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement, improving tariff visibility in the US and the continued diversification of global supply chains present a compelling long-term opportunity for Indian manufacturers.”
With strong momentum across export and domestic markets, expanding margins and continued investments in innovation and sustainability, Welspun Living believes it is well positioned to capitalize on emerging opportunities in the global home textiles industry.
