Welspun World Appoints Rajat Kumar Singh As Group CFO

Welspun World, one of India’s fastest-growing conglomerates with businesses spanning line pipes, infrastructure, home textiles, flooring and warehousing, has announced the appointment of Rajat Kumar Singh as Director and Group Chief Financial Officer, effective June 1, 2026.
In his new role, Singh will be a key member of the Group’s senior leadership team and will oversee financial strategy, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, inorganic growth, fundraising, treasury and investor relations across Welspun World’s diverse portfolio of businesses.
He will also work closely with the Boards and CXOs of group companies to drive long-term financial planning, including strategic capital expenditure, annual operating plans, and three- and five-year growth roadmaps. Additionally, he will focus on strengthening relationships with key external stakeholders to support the Group’s next phase of expansion.

Prior to joining Welspun World, Singh served as Group CFO at ACME Solar, where he oversaw finance across renewable energy, energy storage, green ammonia and solar manufacturing businesses. He has also held senior leadership roles at the Adani Group, Lodha Group, Reliance Infrastructure Limited, GMR Infrastructure and Steel Authority of India.
