Xaar And Nazdar Introduce HighV Aqua Series At FESPA Global Conference
During the FESPA Global Conference on June 3, Karl Forbes, Group R&D Director at Xaar, showcased how cutting-edge inkjet technologies are revolutionizing aqueous printing in the textile sector. Xaar’s collaboration with global ink developer Nazdar has resulted in the HighV Aqua Series, a high viscosity, pigmented water-based technology poised to transform Direct-to-Garment (DTG), corrugated and outer case printing.
Nazdar’s breakthrough R&D has produced a unique fluid technology that enhances clarity and pigment load, achieving vibrant textiles while drastically reducing ink usage and printhead passes. This innovation also lowers energy consumption during drying, making water-based inkjet a viable option across various sectors.
Martin Burns, Nazdar OEM Business Development Manager, highlighted, “The HighV Aqua Series, including high viscosity white ink, coupled with Xaar’s Aquinox printhead TF Technology, sets new standards in textile printing efficiency.”
Karl Forbes emphasized the impact at exhibitions like Drupa, stating, “Xaar’s inkjet technology enables new fluid developments, enhancing digital printing’s performance, sustainability and innovation, particularly in textile applications.”
The advancements promise doubled production speeds and significant resource savings, making inkjet printing increasingly viable for diverse decorative applications.
