Zschimmer & Schwarz Focuses On Sustainability At ITMA
Zschimmer & Schwarz will introduce its wide range of products in application areas of spin finishes, dyeing, pre-treatment, finishing and coating at ITMA 2023.
The special focus will be on tailor-made solutions of the Ecolution range of textile auxiliaries, which comprises of sustainable, natural-based products that can be used for pre-treatment, dyeing and functional finishing.
The company which is mainly into polyamide processing, has developed a new sustainable, plant-based premium fixing aid for polyamide fibres.
The Zetesal Eco-Fix PA is free of any bisphenols, phenols and formaldehyde and is vegan, eco-friendly and made of renewable raw materials.
Zetesal Eco-Fix PA is based on natural raw materials and complies with the legal requirements and current environmental directives of the textile industry.
“With this breakthrough development, Zschimmer & Schwarz fulfils all ecological requirements while ensuring highest fastness levels,” the company said.
It will also show recyclable binders based on PET, PP or PA as well as binders base on renewable materials such as chitosan, which are also compostable.
In addition, energy-efficient solutions will also be shown which reduce the drying temperature to a minimum and thus contribute to reducing the environmental impact.
