Gensol Bags Rs 40 Cr Solar Project from Textile Firm
Gensol Engineering Limited, a leader in solar EPC and electric mobility solutions, has secured a Letter of Award (LOA) to execute a 16 MWp turnkey rooftop solar project valued at Rs. 40 crore for a prominent textile company under the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment. This repeat order will be installed in Madhya Pradesh, with project commissioning expected within six months.
The project will utilize high-efficiency bi-facial solar modules to maximize energy output and ensure long-term durability. This initiative aligns with India’s renewable energy targets and contributes to developing a robust green energy infrastructure. Solar power solutions in the C&I segment are increasingly enabling industries to decarbonize and reduce their carbon footprint.
Shilpa Urhekar, CEO of Solar EPC (India) at Gensol Engineering Ltd., commented, “This repeat order is a testament to Gensol’s ability to execute large-scale projects seamlessly within stipulated timelines. Upon completion, this will be one of India’s largest rooftop solar projects, covering a substantial rooftop area.” Gensol’s expert design and execution will ensure optimal solar energy capture, supporting the customer’s shift toward more sustainable manufacturing processes.
