Parkdale And Trützschler Celebrate 55 Years Of Collaboration

Parkdale, a leading global spun yarn provider, and Trützschler, a textile machinery innovator, mark over 55 years of partnership. Their collaboration, rooted in a shared commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, continues to drive advancements in the textile industry.

A Legacy of Excellence
Founded 108 years ago, Parkdale began operations in Gastonia, North Carolina, producing 425 tons of thread yarn annually. Today, it is the largest consumer of cotton in the US, manufacturing over 8,000 tons of yarn weekly across 21 facilities in the US, Mexico, Central, and South America. Its diverse portfolio includes fiber blends such as cotton, polyester, rayon, nylon, and acrylic.

Trützschler entered the US market in 1969 and quickly partnered with Parkdale. Together, they have navigated major industry transformations, embracing cutting-edge technologies to enhance production processes.

Advancing with SUPERTIP Technology
As the latest milestone in their collaboration, Parkdale has ordered 34 Trützschler carding machines equipped with SUPERTIP wires. These wires are renowned for their durability, lasting up to 30% longer than conventional solutions while reducing maintenance needs by up to 25%. This minimizes service disruptions, ensures smoother processes, and lowers costs.

Parkdale leverages SUPERTIP’s versatility, with over 300 variants tailored to diverse applications. The advanced design eliminates the need for grinding, further extending maintenance intervals.

“Trützschler has consistently exceeded our expectations with their quality and performance,” said Charles Heilig, President and CEO of Parkdale Textile Division.

Unwavering Support
Parkdale benefits from Trützschler’s prompt supply of parts and full-service maintenance, delivered by skilled technicians across its manufacturing sites.

“Our partnership with Parkdale spans over five decades, underscoring a strong relationship built on trust and shared innovation,” said Greg Duncan, Vice President of Spinning Machine Sales at American Trützschler.

SUPERTIP: Precision and Durability Redefined
SUPERTIP card clothings, crafted through a unique manufacturing process, embody durability, versatility, and precision. These innovations, backed by Trützschler’s expertise, exemplify the companies’ commitment to meeting evolving industry demands.

Parkdale and Trützschler’s enduring partnership continues to shape the future of yarn manufacturing, setting new benchmarks for quality and innovation in the textile industry.
