Sanrachna Hackathon Highlights Young Innovators In Technical Textiles At Bharat Tex 2026
One of the key attractions at the Textile Business Digest (TBD) Pavilion during Bharat Tex 2026 was the Sanrachna Hackathon, which showcased innovative solutions developed by students and young entrepreneurs from across India. The participants presented a range of practical applications in technical textiles, including protective garments for farmers, advanced wound-care products for diabetic patients and lightweight insulated mattresses designed for extreme climatic conditions.
The initiative received recognition from Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh and Minister of State for Textiles and External Affairs Pabitra Margherita. The hackathon highlighted the growing potential of technical textiles and emphasized the importance of collaboration between academia, industry and government in fostering innovation and accelerating the development of next-generation textile solutions.
