TAI Mumbai Unit To Host Seminar On Future Trends In Technical Textiles In Vapi
The Textile Association (India) (TAI), Mumbai Unit, will organise a one-day seminar on Future Trends in Technical Textiles on Saturday, August 22, at Hotel Fortune Park Galaxy, Vapi.
The seminar aims to bring together industry leaders, manufacturers, researchers and technology providers to discuss emerging opportunities, innovations and the growing significance of technical textiles. Around 200 participants are expected to attend the event, which will feature technical presentations, industry insights and networking opportunities.
Pramod Khosla, Chairman & Managing Director, Khosla Profil Pvt. Ltd., will be the Chief Guest, while Dr. Ing. Mohit Raina, Managing Director, Raina Industries Pvt. Ltd., will deliver the keynote address.
The event will also felicitate Vipan Kalra, Chairman, Madura Industrial Textiles Ltd., and Chakresh Jain, Group President-Technical, Supreme Nonwovens Industries Pvt. Ltd.
The technical sessions will cover a wide range of subjects, including the transformation from traditional to technical textiles, advanced coating and lamination, warp knitting and coating technologies, textile finishes for athletic performance, yarn-to-performance solutions, protective textiles, startup opportunities, machinery innovations and sustainability and certification.
Speakers include Varqha Bagwan of ITA–Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University, Shridhar Dixit of Yamuna Machine Works, Manish Mashilkar and Deepak Karade of A.T.E. Enterprises, Manjiri Paranjape of Rossari Biotech, Anish Jiwarajka of Jiwarajka Textile Industries, Avinash Misar of Coreshield Industries, Dayal Mehta Jain of AiTTiS and AF.Corp., Paresh Shah of Rabatex Industries and Abhishek Shankar Kamble of Clean Globe India.
The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion on Future of Technical Textiles: Innovation, Sustainability & Market Readiness, moderated by Avinash Mayekar, Managing Director, Suvin Expo LLP. The panel will include Mahesh Bapat, Threads Technology India, C. V. Kanade, Strata Geosystems (India), Narendra Vinayakrao Kajale, Tufropes/Cortland International Company and Tejas Mashruwala, SKAPS Industries.
