All Systems Go For Sweden’s Imogo At ITMA Asia

With a new strategic partner, the opening of its showroom in Sweden, and the successful commissioning of a Dye-Max spray dyeing system at H&M supplier Chorka Textile in Bangladesh, Sweden-based imogo is set to make a strong impression at next week’s ITMA Asia + CITME in Singapore (October 28–31).

The Dye-Max system uses a series of precision nozzles and a patented pro-speed valve to deliver accurate, consistent coverage at extremely low liquor ratios. Compared with conventional jet dyeing, the system significantly reduces water, chemical, and energy usage. “The low liquor ratio of 0.5 litres per kilo of fabric and minimal auxiliary chemicals cut wastewater and energy consumption while maintaining industry-standard quality and fabric performance,” explains Christian Moore, imogo executive partner and board member. The machine integrates easily into existing dyeing installations and supports traditional dyes applied at room temperature.

Blåkläder backing
Imogo will share exhibition space in Singapore with ACG Kinna (Stand D106, Hall 6) and now has the support of Swedish workwear specialist Blåkläder, a leading manufacturer with factories in Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. “Imogo’s technology addresses key sustainability challenges in textile manufacturing, and we are proud to support it,” says Anders Carlsson, MD of Blåkläder. The technology complements Blåkläder’s existing dope-dyeing processes and can also be applied to natural fibers such as cotton, linen, and viscose.

New Showroom in Sweden
Imogo’s newly opened showroom and test centre at 7H Färgeri in Kinnahult, Sweden, provides a platform for demonstrations, technical training and joint development projects with textile producers, brands, and research partners. CEO Joacim Wellander notes, “Visitors can see the technology in action, understand its business impact and explore how innovation can transform their value chain.”

Global readiness demonstrated in Bangladesh
The Dye-Max installation at Chorka Textile under H&M’s Green Fashion Initiative confirms the system’s readiness for the global market. “The installation was handled by our team, and quality results were quickly achieved,” says Moore. “We look forward to engaging with mills worldwide at ITMA Asia + CITME in Singapore.”
