Badri Cotsyn Promotes Sustainability At Heimtextil 2025

At Heimtextil 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany, Badri Cotysn Pvt. Ltd. showcased its commitment to sustainability through the production of recycled polyester staple fibres made from post-consumer PET bottles. Amit Gupta, Director of Badri Group, highlighted the company’s role in advancing the circular economy by turning plastic waste into valuable textile materials.
The exhibition, held from January 14 to January 17, served as a platform for the company to demonstrate how its innovative products are helping reduce environmental impact while promoting eco-friendly manufacturing practices.
As Gupta explained, the company’s work goes beyond just recycling. “We are helping nature by recycling plastic bottles, which take a long time to degrade. By giving them a new life as polyester fibres, we help reduce plastic waste in landfills and oceans,” Gupta stated. In line with its sustainability commitment, Badri Group also collects ocean plastic to protect marine wildlife.
At Heimtextil, Badri Cotsyn featured its key product: recycled polyester staple fibres used in the production of yarns, non-woven geotextiles, and other applications. Gupta elaborated, “These fibres are critical to a circular economy. By transforming used PET bottles into fibres, we create a closed-loop system that reduces waste and conserves resources.”
The response at Heimtextil 2025 to Badri Cotsyn has been positive throughout. “The response has been encouraging from day one, and we continue to see strong interest in our products,” Gupta stated.
Badri Group has earned pan-India acceptance and exports to markets, including Spain, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Italy. “In Europe, we are targeting a much higher share, and the market response has been encouraging,” Gupta shared.
By championing sustainability and recycling, Badri Group is contributing significantly to the shift toward eco-conscious manufacturing practices, reinforcing its role in building a greener, more sustainable textile industry.
