BASF Canada Names Marian Van Hoek As Managing Director

BASF Canada has appointed Marian Van Hoek as Managing Director, effective July 1, 2025. In her new role, she will lead the Canadian operations of BASF SE, a global leader in the chemical industry.

Van Hoek has been with BASF Canada since 2015, serving in key roles, including Legal Counsel, Senior Counsel, and most recently, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. She was also a member of the Canadian Leadership Team and Executive Committee.

She holds a Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and a BA (Honours) in Political Science from Western University.
