Bhilosa Industries Proposes Rs 7,500 Crore Investment In MP’s PM MITRA Park

Bhilosa Industries has proposed an investment of Rs 7,500 crore in Madhya Pradesh, with plans to generate around 3,750 direct jobs through a phased manufacturing expansion centred on the PM MITRA Park in Dhar.
The proposal was presented by Sandeep Jain, Managing Director of Bhilosa Industries, during a meeting with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav on the sidelines of an interactive session on investment opportunities in the state at The St. Regis, Mumbai.
The company plans to begin the project with an initial investment of Rs 2,500 crore, with production targeted to commence in 2028.
Bhilosa Industries is in the process of acquiring 200 acres of land for textile manufacturing and an additional 100 acres for related manufacturing activities at PM MITRA Park, Dhar. The selection of the proposed site is in its final stage, according to the company’s proposal.
The project aims to establish an integrated polyester-based manufacturing ecosystem across the Dhar-Indore region, covering polyester yarn, fibre, knitted fabrics and non-garment fabrics made from man-made fibres.
The proposed investment is also expected to support the development of micro and small ancillary units, strengthening the region’s textile value chain and creating opportunities for supporting industries.
Bhilosa Industries has an annual turnover of Rs 13,232 crore and accounts for approximately 25% of India’s polyester market, according to the information provided. Its products serve domestic customers as well as international markets, including South America, Turkey and Nepal.
The proposed manufacturing hub is expected to strengthen polyester production capacity in Madhya Pradesh, generate direct employment and create opportunities for exports. The development of ancillary industries could further expand the project’s economic impact across the Dhar-Indore industrial belt.
Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said PM MITRA Park in Dhar offers world-class infrastructure and logistics connectivity, positioning it as a potential manufacturing hub for the textile industry.
He assured the company that the state government would provide a supportive policy environment, transparent processes and targeted incentives for polyester-based industries and allied enterprises.
