Caldera Launches Advanced RIP Solution For DTF & DTG Printing

Caldera, a Dover company, has launched its latest raster image processor (RIP) solution for Direct-to-Film (DTF) and Direct-to-Garment (DTG) digital textile printing. Designed for printed apparel creators, printers and producers, the new solution offers enhanced features and is compatible with both Windows and MacOS.
Targeting the garment decoration market, Caldera’s RIP simplifies customization for unique pieces and small batch production. With an intuitive interface and built-in self-training guides, users of all skill levels can efficiently learn and refine their DTF and DTG techniques.
“We’ve designed the interface to be user-friendly and focused on the key features that matter most,” said Sebastien Hanssens, VP of Marketing & Operations at Caldera. “Our goal is to streamline apparel decoration, while ensuring colour accuracy, helping users save time and improve their skills with integrated educational content.”
The software includes advanced White Management Tools, ready-to-use print presets and design preview capabilities to minimize errors. Its File Preparation tools support automatic image mirroring, while its Colour Management features offer spot colour conversion, fine-tuning and support for up to 12 inks, including fluorescents, varnishes, glosses and pre-treatments.
Ideal for printing on T-shirts, hoodies, sportswear, hats, bags, flags and banners, the RIP solution supports multiple file formats, including BMP, PSB, PSD, PNG, TIF/TIFF, PDF, AI, and JPEG.
