Chinese Company Obtains Patent For Polylactic Acid Fibres
Suzhou Baolidi Material Technology has obtained a Chinese patent for a method to produce light absorbing and heat generating polylactic acid fibres.
This was revealed by an announcement from the State Intellectual Property Office.
A mixture melt is extruded from the spinneret and then the fibres are produced by cooling and drawing, and then subjected to a water soluble treatment to obtain polylactic acid fibres.
The mixture melt includes polylactic acid, low molecular weight water soluble polyester, high molecular weight water soluble polyester and light absorbing and heating materials.
The fibre manufactured by this patented process has excellent properties like light absorption, heat generation, strength, etc, and can be used in woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, nonwovens and blends.
