Elevate Textiles’ Net-Zero Targets Validated By SBTi

Elevate Textiles, along with its brands A&E, Burlington, Cone Denim, Gütermann, and Safety Components, has received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its near-term and net-zero emissions targets. The approval confirms that Elevate’s climate goals align with the most ambitious criteria under the SBTi’s Net-Zero Standard.

The company aims to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 46.2% by 2030 (from a 2019 base), and Scope 3 emissions across key areas such as purchased goods and energy-related activities by the same margin.

Jimmy Summers, Chief Sustainability Officer, said, “These validations mark a significant milestone in our decarbonization journey. We remain on track to meet our 2030 targets.”
