GHCL Reports Improved Q4 FY26 Results; PAT Rises 12% QoQ

GHCL Ltd announced its standalone financial results for Q4 and FY26, reporting a 12% quarter-on-quarter rise in Profit After Tax (PAT) to Rs 120 crore, supported by improved domestic demand and stable realizations in India’s soda ash market.
Net revenue for Q4 FY26 increased to Rs 808 crore from Rs 773 crore in Q3 FY26, while EBITDA rose 10% to Rs 194 crore from Rs 175 crore in the previous quarter. The company attributed the improved performance to resilient domestic demand and moderated import flows, even as global soda ash markets remained volatile due to geopolitical tensions, supply chain disruptions and currency fluctuations.
For FY26, GHCL reported revenue of Rs 3,144 crore, down 4% year-on-year, while EBITDA declined 20% to Rs 769 crore and PAT fell 24% to Rs 479 crore compared to FY25.
Managing Director R S Jalan said the company’s operational discipline, cost optimization and focus on energy efficiency helped sustain margins despite global headwinds. He added that diversification projects in bromine and vacuum salt are in advanced stages and expected to be commissioned in Q1 of the current financial year, while the greenfield soda ash project is being aligned with market conditions.
Looking ahead, GHCL expects domestic demand to remain stable and continues to focus on strengthening its balance sheet and executing long-term growth initiatives amid ongoing global uncertainty.
