At Heimtextil 2025, Sumit Rekhi, Business Head – GM Sales of Jaipur Rugs, dwelt on the company’s latest creations that highlight a blend of trending colours and innovative techniques. The company introduced exciting new features across its range of knotted and hand-loomed rugs, designed to capture the attention of global markets.

Rekhi explained that the company’s focus this year was on textured rugs, which incorporate minimalist designs with an emphasis on tactile elements. “We’ve incorporated more texture into our designs while maintaining a minimalistic aesthetic,” Rekhi said. “Textural looks are our key focus for this year, and it’s something that really stands out in the market right now.”

Jaipur Rugs received a positive reception at Heimtextil, with Rekhi noting the high-quality footfall at their stand. “We’ve had a great response, particularly to the muted and warm tones that are currently trending,” he remarked. “The conversations with visitors have been engaging, and it’s encouraging to see so much interest in our new techniques and colour options.”

While the company has a strong presence in India with its own stores, it also sees significant demand in international markets. The US remains their largest market, followed by Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. “Our export markets are growing, and we’re excited to continue expanding our reach in these regions,” Rekhi added.
