MAG Solvics, KCG College Sign MoU For Textile Innovation

MAG Solvics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KCG College of Technology, Chennai, to foster innovation, industry-oriented learning, research and technological advancement in the textile and fashion sectors.

The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Annie Jacob, Director of KCG College of Technology, and Dhandayuthapani Chidambaram, Managing Director of MAG Solvics, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership aimed at bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial application.

As part of the engagement, the MAG Solvics team visited the institution’s campus, with a special focus on the School of Fashion Technology, where they were impressed by the advanced infrastructure, specialised laboratories and technology-driven learning environment. The visit also included interactions with the institution’s leadership, including the Director, Dean and Heads of various departments, who shared their forward-looking vision for textile and fashion education.

The collaboration is expected to drive stronger academia–industry integration through knowledge exchange, skill development initiatives, internships, industrial training, collaborative research projects and greater exposure to emerging developments in textile testing and quality engineering.
