NIFT Gandhinagar Showcases Industry-Focused Projects At The Bottomline 2026

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Gandhinagar, organized The Bottomline 2026, the graduation showcase of its Master of Fashion Management (MFM) batch, highlighting industry-oriented projects developed by 37 students in collaboration with leading fashion and retail companies.
The event brought together industry leaders, academicians and fashion professionals to explore projects focused on retail innovation, merchandising, e-commerce optimization, AI integration and sustainability within the fashion sector.
Sameer Sood said India’s textile and apparel sector will play a crucial role in achieving the country’s “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision, emphasizing the importance of exports, sustainability and entrepreneurship in driving industry growth.
He noted that NIFT’s fashion management programme aims to develop professionals equipped to handle the strategic, technological and operational dimensions of the fashion business.
Students completed graduation projects with companies including Flipkart, Myntra, Reliance Retail, PUMA, ASICS and Skechers.
Key presentations included AI-driven e-commerce analytics, automated merchandising systems, visual merchandising frameworks and retail sell-through optimization projects.
Industry speakers also encouraged students to focus on sustainability, technology integration and entrepreneurship while strengthening India’s textile and apparel ecosystem.
The showcase reflected NIFT Gandhinagar’s continued focus on industry collaboration and future-ready fashion management education.
