ReCircled And Kaltex Partner For Circular Denim

ReCircled LLC, a preprocessor for footwear, apparel, and accessories, and Kaltex USA, one of the leading denim producers in North America, have recently revealed their exclusive partnership to complete the circle for the first-ever fully vertical and transparent circular denim in the Western Hemisphere.

Under this partnership, ReCircled will take charge of administering Branded Take Back Programs, collaborating with brands and retailers’ distribution centers to handle unsaleable items, sorting them by brand, and preparing the denim for recycling. Once these products have been meticulously sorted, cleaned, and detrimmed, they will be forwarded to Kaltex for recycling into new denim, closing the sustainability loop.

This remarkable Textile-to-Textile process will empower brands and retailers to produce Circular Denim with ease, as the turnkey system will be expertly handled from inception to completion by ReCircled and Kaltex.

Expressing enthusiasm about the collaboration, Scott Kuhlman, the CEO of ReCircled, stated, “From the beginning, we knew that collaboration was essential to establish a cutting-edge system for recycling textiles at the highest level. With the system we now have in place, it’s finally becoming a reality.”

Similarly, Eric Goldstein, EVP of Kaltex Apparel, remarked, “Kaltex has been recycling cotton for 15 years, but now we have achieved true circularity with the infrastructure to collect cotton products from virtually any location in the USA and transport them to our facility where we take control from fiber to finished goods.” He further added, “This process is the first of its kind in the hemisphere, offering transparency, sustainability, a remarkably low carbon footprint, and genuine circularity.”
