Sreeja Balachandra Appointed Associate Vice President At Gokaldas Exports

Sreeja Balachandra has been appointed Associate Vice President at Gokaldas Exports Limited in Bengaluru. In her new role, she will lead transformational initiatives across the company’s manufacturing operations, focusing on operational excellence, process optimisation and organisational capability building.

Prior to joining Gokaldas Exports Limited, Balachandra served as Head – Manufacturing Excellence at Classic Fashion Apparel Industry Ltd. Co. She earlier held the same leadership role at Texport Overseas Pvt. Ltd., where she led initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and manufacturing performance.

Over the course of her career, she has also held leadership positions at Shahi Exports Pvt. Ltd. and Bhartiya International Limited, gaining extensive experience in lean manufacturing, quality management systems and organisational development within the apparel industry.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Balachandra serves as a Board Member at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kannur, as part of the NIFT Alumni and Industry Advisory Board (NAIAB), where she contributes to strengthening industry–academia collaboration.
