Sukano, Poddar Pigments Partner To Expand Fibre Colour Solutions In Americas
Sukano Polymers Corporation has entered into a strategic partnership with Poddar Pigments to expand the availability of single pigment dispersion (SPD) solutions for fibre applications across the United States, Canada and Latin America.
Under the partnership, Sukano will serve as the exclusive techno-commercial partner for the direct sales and distribution of Poddar Pigments’ SPD black, white and colour portfolio in the region, including local stock and customer support.
The partnership combines Poddar’s expertise in pigment manufacturing and colour technology with Sukano’s regional presence, technical capabilities and customer support network across the Americas. Sukano will act as the primary contact for customers, providing product selection, technical support, local stock availability and customer service.
The companies said the collaboration is particularly focused on polyester and nylon fibre applications, where colour consistency, accurate colour matching, purity, process stability and product performance are critical. Sukano will also continue developing and supplying customised colour formulations to meet specific customer requirements.

Both companies are also focusing on sustainability. Poddar operates its production facility using renewable solar energy through rooftop installations and a dedicated solar power plant. Sukano is expanding its use of renewable energy through solar installations at facilities in Switzerland and Malaysia.
Sukano is a Switzerland-headquartered specialist in additive and colour masterbatches and compounds for polyesters, biopolymers, high-temperature polymers and specialty resins. The company has manufacturing facilities in the USA, Malaysia and Hungary.
Poddar Pigments, established in 1994, manufactures masterbatch products for the textile and fibre segments and has a presence in more than 30 countries. The company has expanded its production capacity to 26,000 tonnes per annum and operates manufacturing facilities in Jaipur, India.
