Techtextil And Texprocess Innovation Awards Open For Submissions – Winners To Gain Global Recognition
Companies, research institutes and universities are invited to submit their innovations for the Techtextil Innovation Award and the Texprocess Innovation Award until 15 December 2025. Winners gain international recognition and leverage the reach of two of the world’s leading trade fairs for technical textiles and textile processing.
The awards will be presented during Techtextil and Texprocess in Frankfurt, 21–24 April 2026, where winning innovations will be showcased to a global audience of industry leaders, researchers and media.
The textile industry is experiencing rapid evolution, driven by advances in technical textiles, nonwovens, AI, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge production technologies. Amid economic challenges such as recession, tariffs and restrained investment, these innovations are critical in creating new opportunities across sectors, including mobility, medicine, construction and apparel.

2024 winners included recyclable fibre composites for aviation, self-cooling façade textiles, and advanced 4D scanning methods for body measurement, highlighting the transformative potential of technical and textile innovations.
The Award Categories for Techtextil Innovation Award 2026, include, New Concept, New Material, New Application, New Product, New Chemicals & Dyes, New Recycled Materials & Recycling Technologies, and New Production Technology, Digitalisation & AI Solutions.
The Award Categories for Texprocess Innovation Award 2026, include, Economic Quality (cost, time, and process optimisation, automation), Ecological Quality (sustainability, energy efficiency, recycling, circularity), Digitalisation & AI, and Innovation for Quality Improvement.
