Telangana Reviews Progress Of Kakatiya Mega Textile Park And Key Industrial Projects
Telangana Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju has directed the Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TGIIC) to expedite the development of key industrial projects, including the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, Bharat Future City and Zaheerabad Industrial City, to attract global investments and accelerate industrial growth.
Chairing a high-level review meeting with senior officials of the Industries and Commerce Department, Jaju assessed the progress of infrastructure development, investment prospects and project implementation timelines.
He emphasised that Telangana’s focus should be on creating world-class industrial infrastructure and a business-friendly ecosystem to position the state as a preferred investment destination. He noted that attracting domestic and international investments is critical for driving economic growth and generating large-scale employment.
The Chief Secretary instructed officials to ensure timely execution of projects through close inter-departmental coordination, regular progress monitoring and prompt resolution of implementation bottlenecks.
Jaju said flagship initiatives such as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, Bharat Future City and Zaheerabad Industrial City have the potential to transform Telangana’s industrial landscape by strengthening manufacturing capabilities, promoting balanced regional development and creating new investment opportunities across the state.
