TMMA Awards Excellence In Textile Machinery For 2022-23

New Chairman M. Sankar Takes the Helm at TMMA

The Textile Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (TMMA) conducted its 63rd Annual General Meeting, featuring Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari (IAS), MD of MPIDC, and Sunil Patwari, Chairman of Texprocil and MD of Nagreeka Exports Ltd., as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour. Pratik Bachkaniwala, the outgoing chairman, expressed gratitude to his colleagues, Executive Council members and past chairmen for their support and assistance during his tenure. He congratulated M. Sankar, the incoming Chairman, and his co-office bearers Prashant Mangukia and Chintan Thumar, wishing them a successful term.

Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari, Chief Guest at the TMMA Annual General Meeting, highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s remarkable growth in the textile industry. He emphasized the state’s commitment to boosting textile exports and achieving a technology-driven, productive economy. Dr. Kothari emphasized Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment, attracting investments and bridging the academia-industry gap with prestigious institutes like NIFT, NID, and IIITDM.

The meeting included the presentation of export and R&D awards, recognizing excellence in export promotion and textile engineering development for 2022-23. The awardees were acknowledged for their outstanding efforts in advancing the industry’s exports and technological innovation. The Chairman also extended thanks to ITAMMA, India ITME Society, and the TMMA Secretariat, led by Executive Director Sachin Kumar, for their unwavering support. The event ended with a networking cocktail and dinner.

Rieter India Pvt. Ltd., located in Pune, has won the Apex Award. Pankaj Dangra, the Head of Marketing, and Shubhra Khanvilkar, the Head of Commerce at the company, were the recipients of the award.

 

Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) Ltd., Coimbatore, has won the export award in the machinery sector. N. Jayakumar, Country Manager for Turkey at the company was the recipient of the award.

 

Luwa India Pvt. Ltd., located in Bangalore, has won the export award in the Parts & Accessories Sector. Rijesh Raman, the Finance Director of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Premier Evolvics Pvt. Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the export award in the Textile Testing, Monitoring & Controlling Instruments Sector. V. Srinivasan, the CEO of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Saurer Textile Solutions Pvt. Ltd., located in Vadodara, has won the special export award in the spinning machinery sector. Ashok Juneja, the Director of Sales & Services at the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Bhagat Textile Engineers, based in Surat, has won the special export award in the synthetic machinery sector. Deepak Wadia, the Marketing Manager of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Kusters Calico Machinery Pvt. Ltd., based in Vadodara, has won the special export award in the processing machinery sector. Sushil Verma, MD of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Sieger Spintech Equipments Pvt. Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the special export award in the parts and accessories sector. P. Sathyanandan, Vice President – Sales of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Yamuna Machine Works Ltd., based in Mumbai, has won the special export award in the small scale – machinery sector. Prashant Mangukia, MD and Gurudas V. Aras, Advisor of the company, were the recipient of the award.

 

Lakshmi Card Clothing Mfg. Co. Pvt. Ltd., based in Coimbatore has won the special export award in the small scale sector – parts & accessories. B. Anirudth, General Manager Administration of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

The Indian Card Clothing Pvt. Ltd., based in Pune, has won the research & development award for their development of “Non-Woven Card Servicing Machine”. Ashok Kumar Pal, Designation – Vice President (Product Development & Technical Support) of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the research & development award for their development of “Card LC636S”. S. Rajasekaran, Senior VP, R&D of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Premier Evolvics Pvt. Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the research & development award for their development of “Premier Uniq: For Contamination Sorter”. V Srinivasan, CEO of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Stovec Industries Limited, based in Ahmedabad, has won the research & development award for their development of “Teak Universal Repeat”. Shailesh Wani (right), MD of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the research & development award for their development of “Card LC361S”. Man Chandra Sekaran – Carding System leader of the company, was the recipient of the award.

 

Mag Solvics Pvt. Ltd., based in Coimbatore, has won the research & development award for their development of “HVT Genius 2, High Volume Fibre Testing Instrument.” Senthil Kumar – DGM – R&D of the company, was the recipient of the award.
