Vietnamese Apparel Exports Up 6.8 Percent In July
In July 2023, garment exports from Vietnam totaled US $3.27 billion, an increase of 6.8 percent, when compared with June 2023.
As against the earlier eleven months, Vietnamese clothing shipments recorded the highest value in July 2023, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
“Shipments of apparel are showing recovery signs in several markets and exports are expected to touch around $40 billion in 2023,” Chairman of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Vu Duc Giang said.
